Asia has worked in the mental health field for over ten years. She has provided services for individuals struggling with addiction as a licensed clinical addiction specialist and has helped individuals work through mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Asia has also been a featured speaker for various women’s conferences and recently appeared as a guest expert for the, “Tim and Brelyn” show which aired on The Word Network. Asia’s accomplishments include developing a Body Image curriculum for female adolescents for Innovate Therapy & Consulting, recently published her first journal reflection book, “Soul Healing Reflections: 21 Days of Healing Your Soul,” and her first memoir “Cry. Exhale. Heal: A Journey to Inner Healing.” Asia is a highly-sought out speaker who addresses topics ranging from faith and women’s empowerment to inner healing. Asia focuses on holistic health to promote the nourishment of mind, body and spirit in helping individuals live out their best lives. Asia currently practices as a Certified Behavior Therapy Coach Practitioner, Certified NLP Practitioner Coach, and Life Coach. Asia’s journey from practicing in clinical settings to life coaching is rooted in the belief that healing practices isn’t confined to only clinical approaches.

In her book she takes you on a journey through one of the toughest moments in her life and leaves all her pain behind on each page. She shares her struggles with emotional and psychological roadblocks while navigating life and gives the reader tools on how to push past and come out victorious on the other end! I recommend this book for anyone looking for an easily digestible read and self-help resource. Love it!
This book is amazing! Where to begin first?! Well, the author's transparency for one is amazing. She bears it all and is unashamed of her journey through healing. The quotes and poems at the beginning of each chapter are nuggets to chew on throughout your journey. I also like that fact that she talks about taking the mask off. It's something that we should all take inventory of for ourselves to make sure we're not wearing a mask! Great read!
One of my favorites lines in this book "little did I know, I would encounter a life changing experience that would teach me there is a form of crying which cleanses the soul, releases the weight of life's burdens and heals suppressed wounds." Cry. Exhale. Heal has allowed me to own my wounds and move forward. It's real and honest about the waves of depression that are present even years after a great loss. After reading it, I am better equipped to recognize triggers within myself...just a great guide for reflection.
